From the user's description: "Following the phenomenal success of the inaugural 2007 Chicago Dancing Festival, the Chicago Dancing Company is proud to announce the Festival will return in 2008. After attracting an audience of more than 8,500 in 2007, this critically acclaimed celebration of dance has been expanded to three free events to take place Aug. 18-20. The 2008 Chicago Dancing Festival will include a free performance showcasing 20th Century Masters, Monday, Aug. 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance, 205 E. Randolph Dr., and a free modern dance lecture demonstration, Tuesday, Aug. 19 at 6 p.m. at the Museum of Contemporary Art, 220 E. Chicago Ave. The Festival culminates in Celebration of American Dance, a free outdoor performance featuring premier dance artists from some of the country most esteemed companies Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 7:30 p.m. at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park.
