The 2008 Chicago Dancing Festival will include a free performance showcasing 20th Century Masters, Monday, Aug. 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance, 205 E. Randolph Dr., and a free modern dance lecture demonstration, Tuesday, Aug. 19 at 6 p.m. at the Museum of Contemporary Art, 220 E. Chicago Ave. The Festival culminates in Celebration of American Dance, a free outdoor performance featuring premier dance artists from some of the country most esteemed companies Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 7:30 p.m. at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park.
